“Journeying together towards knowing Christ.”
Welcome to Emmaus! We are extremely excited about what this year has to offer for Summerside Youth. We have spent many hours planning and preparing to help our youth connect with God and each other through our youth ministry. We place a strong emphasis on our Wednesday evening youth gathering, Emmaus, that is specifically designed to create an opportunity for youth to grow in their relationship with God, no matter what stage of faith they are at. This consists of a relationship- building time (group games and activities), a worship time, a time dedicated to looking into God’s Word and a discussion and prayer time (small groups – Jr. High and Sr. High). See you at Emmaus!! We are also excited about our monthly youth activities that are designed to create a healthy environment for youth to let loose and get to know other youth. It is also our desire, through these activities, to model to youth how to be a follower of Jesus in everyday life situations. Fore more information, or to sign up for our weekly newsletter, please contact our Director of Student Ministries at firstname.lastname@example.org. At Summerside, we are committed to providing a safe place for children/youth to learn about Jesus and to grow in their walk with him. As such, we require all of our volunteers in children’s/youth ministry to provide us with a current police records check and to read and uphold our Child Protection Policy. You can download a copy of this policy here.
