Our Mission

We are the people of God, called together by Christ. Every member is called to the same mission - to share the gospel and make disciples. We are a body of believers and the best way to accomplish this mission is to do it together.

As the church, we are part of the family of God and, as such, we interact together as a family within our church. We love each other with our words and actions. We model a healthy family in being known to each other and by being deeply embedded in each other’s lives.

We care deeply for those whom God has placed within our sphere of influence. This includes the community around the church, but it also goes beyond that and enters our own daily lives. In our communities, workplaces, and relationships, we seek to care, serve, and love those who don’t know Christ. People should want to be our neighbour and live near us.

We understand the importance of extending the gospel to others; however, we also realize that this is something scary and, sometimes, unnatural for us. We live with the understanding that our boldness and courage comes not from ourselves, but from Christ. This means that, by faith, we are not afraid to take risks and take chances on people.
