Hey everyone, I’m excited to move some of our different communication sources into one easy to find space for everything SummersideYOUTH. What you can expect from this space is Monthly Updates about what is going on in Youth Ministry at Summerside. I want to share what we are talking about on Wednesday Nights, highlight upcoming Events, and celebrate what God is doing in this part of our Church. I will also use this space to recap certain events so that you can hear more than an, “it was okay” from your student. Lastly, I will continue to use this space to link to different Articles, Podcasts, etc. that I have found interesting and feel could help us as Parents, Students, Leaders, Grandparents, be better equipped on this Journey Together Towards Knowing Christ.

James 1:22-27 Following last week's message on hearing God's Word, we come to one of James's most familiar challenges: “Be doers of the word, and not hearers only.” But have we really grasped what he's asking? We can hear God's Word, agree with it, even be deeply moved by it, yet walk away unchanged. James confronts this uncomfortable reality while revealing something surprising: obedience isn't the enemy of freedom. It's where we discover the blessing of living God's way. Welcome to Summerside Kids!
I’m excited to finally have a place where I can keep our families connected to what’s happening in Summerside Kid’s Ministry each week. My hope is that this page will help bridge the gap between Sunday and the rest of the week by giving you a glimpse into what your children are learning, talking about, and discovering from God’s Word. Each week I’ll share lesson highlights, discussion questions, prayer ideas, and important updates so you can continue the conversation at home. As much as I love the time we have with your children on Sundays, I know that the greatest opportunities for spiritual growth happen in everyday moments with family. My goal is to support and encourage you as you disciple your kids throughout the week. Thank you for allowing our ministry team to invest in your children. It is a joy to watch them grow in their understanding of God, ask thoughtful questions, and learn what it means to follow Jesus. My prayer is that this page becomes a helpful resource for your family and another way we can work together to point the next generation to Jesus. I’m glad you’re here, and I’m looking forward to sharing this journey with you and seeing all that God does in the lives of our kids.

Welcome to Pastor Leo's Posts
One of the things I've always valued about being a pastor is the opportunity to share life with the people God has called me to serve. And while Sundays give us a wonderful opportunity to gather, there's always more on my heart than I can share in those moments. So, I'm glad we've got this new space on our website where I can connect with you a little more regularly. My plan is to post here at least once a month, sharing some of what's on my mind and heart, reflecting on things God is doing among us, and occasionally drawing your attention to something worth celebrating or looking forward to at Summerside. And you know, sometimes it's just good to remind ourselves why we're here in the first place. We're not simply trying to keep a church busy. We want to be a people whose lives are being changed by the gospel, and who are helping others discover that same hope in Jesus. That's what we're pursuing together, and I'm grateful I get to be part of it with you. In fact, Paul's words to the Philippians capture something of how I feel about this church: "I thank my God every time I remember you." (Phil. 1:3)
