We are living in a time when people don’t think very highly about politicians, or leaders in general for that matter. Unfortunately, that attitude carries over to how people view church leaders. Yet, it is surprising how much the Bible says about how a congregation needs to respond to the leaders God has given them. Paul addresses this issue in one of the first letters he writes to a young church. If they needed to hear it, we should assume we also need to heed his instruction.
