Jesus has made quite the entrance into Jerusalem in Mark 11, the last week of his life. A Triumphal Entrance with surprising reactions all around. A temple cleansing that challenged our understanding of prayer. As we head into the next several weeks, many specific topics will be addressed by Jesus the next day; likely his longest day. Before heading into that, we’re going to insert a unique passage from the Gospel of John which complements the rest of the Gospel of Mark so well. In it, Jesus speaks with urgency and clarity about who he is and what he really wants us to see about himself. This is a great opportunity to deepen your roots in his claims and for you to look at him more closely if you are still making sense of him.
