Confessions of a Troubled Man – Psalm 73

Leo KlusSummer Road TripLeave a Comment

We’re going to the Psalms this week, and we’ll be hearing the confessions of a man of God who is deeply troubled. He’s looking at the world around him and comparing it to his own experience as a true follower of the Lord – and it’s not adding up. This Psalm helps us understand the tension in our own hearts when we do the same. The Psalmist talks honestly about his descent into doubt, and then he “course-corrects” and describes his ascent back to trust. A great segue into a time of communion.
