It is easy to remember to give thanks when someone hands you an unexpected gift and they watch you open it. It is more difficult to remember to be thankful for the gifts we enjoy in our everyday lives. God warned his people in the Old Testament that he was going to give them great gifts, and they were going to be tempted to forget where they came from. This Thanksgiving Sunday, we are going to hear God’s challenge in Deuteronomy 8 to not forget to be thankful for the amazing gifts God has given us.
