Today, we will hear a report from Jon Mark & Sarah Davis and Greg & Kait Isaaks (Marissa, Rosie, and Isaiah) regarding the Davis family’s recent missions’ trip to a Central American country. In March, Jon Mark & Sarah and their four kids, Noah, Levi, Izzy, and Micah spent three weeks working alongside the Isaak family, who serve with Assist Canada, in that country, with the various ministries the Isaaks are involved with: ministering to families who subsist from scavenging a local dump, and fundraising to help build them homes. We also supported the work of a local pastor who serves these families in fundraising to help build a permanent church near the dump. The Isaaks also support a home for women and children who have been rescued from human trafficking. They also ran sport camps and did some building projects. JM was able to help launch this country’s very first Band of Brothers bootcamp, wherein a number of men gave their lives to the Lord, others more fully surrendered their lives to Him, and they were witness to “healing of broken hearts and setting the captives free,” (Isaiah 61:1). Thank you to all who gave generously towards the fundraising and came alongside as prayer partners for this family’s missions trip. It was life-changing!
