We live in a world that is overdosing on “knowledge” and information, and it’s difficult to distinguish between what is fake and what is real. The ancient world had the opposite problem, information scarcity, which created a similar issue in determining truth. This week, we will learn from Paul’s prayer for the Colossians and apply it to our struggle for truth today. Paul prays that God would fill them with knowledge, so that they can learn how to live in a way that glorifies God, even amidst difficult problems and people, all while giving joyful thanks to God for his grace.
