Looking around our world, between the ongoing wars, national disasters, political turmoil, exploitation and poverty, there is a lot of darkness. Where do we look to, and where do we see the light of hope? Just like the ancient Israelites, hundreds of years before Christ, a pre-Christian pagan-world in far worse shape than ours, we can look to the prophecy and promise in the book of Isaiah concerning the coming light of the Christ-Child.
