When my husband and I first attended Summerside in 2019, we were immediately drawn to the passion for the Lord, His Word, and the welcoming community. Even as a first time visitor, we felt the connection. I am honoured to be able to serve alongside the other staff members here as Executive Assistant and can’t wait to be a first hand witness to God’s work in people’s hearts, the church family, and the surrounding communities.
When they say you know, you know! My husband and I met in BC in late 2010 and months later were married! Our marriage is testament to God’s provision, grace, and goodness even amidst life’s challenges. It has (and continues to be) a tremendous gift.
We run a full time circus together at home with three kids. There’s endless amounts of energy (and plenty of snacks)!
Before being a stay at home mom, I worked as a police dispatcher and before that as a wedding coordinator/event planner. Both of these positions gave me a ton of experience staying organized and working with others. But now, my life looks very different and I wouldn’t trade these years home with my babies for anything (Well, most days I feel that way, but not always. Isn’t that real life parenting?!
When I can, I love to escape to the middle of the woods for a good hike and admire God’s beautiful creation. I also love a good spin class and workout.
I’m passionate about connecting with women to encourage them in their identity with Christ. And because it really takes a village on this journey of motherhood, I love meeting with moms and encouraging each other. We’ve all been given such incredibly unique gifts and talents to further His kingdom, but sometimes in the busy day to day it’s easy to lose sight of our purpose.
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
